This property was a single storey weatherboard house. Due to a growing family it was in need of increase in space and a facelift. Duncan Thompson Extensions was given the task of creating a much larger and more contemporary home which offered space for the family. We needed to create a modern design which also blended into the existing dwelling. We designed and built an upper storey extension incorporating 3 bedrooms, a rumpus room, study and a bathroom.
Included in the project was the addition of a new front porch.
One of our design team design team Bryn, summarised the project by describing it as a large upper storey extension to give the client the space they needed, with only minor ground floor alterations to allow for the staircase installation. A new front porch was added to enhance the look of the façade.
