Jim has been a registered architect since 1990, and for the last 15 years has worked exclusively on residential design. Prior to accepting the position of design manager at Duncan Thompson, he was a highly successful designer at one of Melbourne’s most prestigious new-home building companies.

At Duncan Thompson he adapted his talent for new home design to residential extensions and has been equally successful, amassing an impressive portfolio of excellent projects. Jim’s extensive experience with councils and town planning regulations allows him to maximise the potential of any given site. He has a particular talent for negotiating the sometimes arcane regulations of Melbourne’s town planning departments, which means his clients can be secure in the knowledge they will get the best possible result for their particular house.
